So what exactly is a fanlisting? A fanlisting is a web clique that lists fans of a particular subject. Unlike most web cliques, a person does not need a web site in order to join. Fans from around the world submit their information to their approved fanlisting and they are then listed to show their love for the subject. ABOUT HUNTER X HUNTER

Hunter X Hunter is about a boy named Gon sets out to become a hunter. A hunter in this story can be anyone who collects and hunts anything. A person has to be really strong and intelligent to be a hunter, and it¡¯s an honoured title, out of the 10 richest people in the world, 7 are hunters. To make sure that not everyone can have this honourable title, people have to take a hunter exam to be a hunter. So Gon was determined to become a hunter and find his father, Jin Freeces, one of the greatest hunters. On the way to the hunter exam, Gon made some best friends, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio. Killua is an ex-assassin who is trained to be an assassin but tired of it. Kurapika is the last survivor of his clan and is trying to avenge of his clan. Leorio is a doctor-wannabe but needs to be a hunter and get money to study and open a hospital. Though they each have their own ideals about being a hunter, but they stand by each other's goals and dreams, togather, their special bond of friendship makes them equally strong.

However, if you think passing the hunter exam is the end then you are wrong. After the hunter exam, our characters continue to develop in a fantastic way. Characters build on little by little, we know more about these characters and grow to love them. Revenge, searching for family, finding goal in life and reaching dreams, even villains are an attractive and interesting bunch, but the main complicts are the characters themselves trying to solve their own problems.

The manga is on and off hiatus due to the mangaka's unspoken problems. Even so, it is important to keep the fandom alive because Hunter x Hunter is such an amazing manga that all is worthwhile.

SITE

The name "Haunted" was inspired by the first fanlisting's name, which was "hunted". I personally think that "Haunted" is more suitable for this series because almost every character in Hunter x Hunter are haunted by certain things or people and so they are inspired to do whatever they are set out to.
